

Violin Professor Roman Nodel will teach at the 1st Session in 2013 Euro Music Festival and Academy, Halle, Germany.

Roman Nodel studied at the Central School of Music for Gifted Children and at
the world-famous Tschaikowsky Conservatory in under D. Zyganov (the leader of
Beethoven-Quartet Moscow). During the studies, he had successfully taken part in different international competitions, winning the 4th prize and a silver medal at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, the 6th
prize at the 1st Competition in Montreal, Canada and the 4th prize at the Jacques-Tibaud Competition in Paris among others.
After the studies he was working as soloist and taught at the State Conservatory in Minsk.
He has played far more than 1000 concerts between 1967 and 1980 among others as cycles in this time: The history of the violin concertos(18 concerts, from A. Vivaldi and J. S. Bach till A. Berg and D. Schostakovitsch), all violin concertos by W. A. Mozart, 10 Sonatas for violin and the piano by L. v. Beethoven.
After the emigration in 1980 he was the 1st concertmaster of the State Orchestra of Low Saxony and since 1987 he is a professor at the University of Music Heidelberg-Mannheim.
He plays as soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Asia, USA, South America and New Zealand. He performed as soloist under such conductors as Yuri Aranovich, Rene Defossez, Karl Eliasberg, Kirill Kondrashin, Ferdinand Leitner, Otto Müller, Woldemar Nelsson, Karl Österreicher, Leif Segerstam, George Alexander Albrecht, Juri Temirkanov, Saulus Sondezkis,Douglas Runnicles and many others.prize at the 1st Competition in Montreal, Canada and the 4th prize at the Jacques-Tibaud Competition in Paris among others.

Nadege Rochat also has performing actively as Cello-Guitar Duo with guitarist Rafael Aguirre.
Nadège Rochat, born in Genève in 1991, started studying cello with her aunt Fabienne Dambrini at the age of 4.
In 2001, aged of 10 then, she became the youngest finalist of the international competition "Jeunes Interprètes", chaired by Pierre Amoyal.
